Conquistadors Celebrating the Spanish Heritage of Charlotte County |

Since
their founding in 1979, The Royal Order of Ponce de Leon Conquistadors has
been dedicated to preserving the Spanish heritage of Charlotte County.
Conquistadors have made goodwill voyages to Spain and to Puerto Rico.
Recently, a statue of de Leon was constructed in Punta Gorda in anticipation
of the 500th anniversary of his first visit to Florida. |
