Bob Clendenin 190 SL Convention Athens, Georgia 2006 |
|
I can't guarantee it but, with some confidence I
say, the first time I've waxed my 190 SL in over 30 years was the week before
driving it to Athens. After all, once you wax a car, you've made a
commitment. Telling folks we were driving to Athens raised some eyebrows because everyone thinks of that place on the Mediterranean. Consider there are at least a dozen states in the good old U.S.A. boasting an Athens. Click below for a larger image. |

| Linda sips a drink with glowing ice, probably contemplating SL interiors. The dash metal must match the body color and the leather the interior. Note the similarity of the two 190 SL dashboard's to the 300 SL on the left. | ||||
